The last 18 months of Covid restrictions has made it difficult for Thistle Divers to maintain the social side of the club on our usual Monday nights. The pool at Kilsyth was simply shut for over a year and no Monday night pool sessions took place at all. The pool opened up in May with some social distancing measures and slowly but surely we have been getting back to training and practicing diving skills in the pool. The tradition of meeting in The Coachman for a quick drink and a chat afterwards however had not started up due to booking requirements and general hassle factor involved with just going to the pub. So it was wonderful last night to return again to the pub and meet up after the pool. As you can see a good time was had and a bad selfie taken!
