4 Divers drove up to Loch Leven to dive Manse Point. It was a chilly morning and the weather was getting worse as we approached Glencoe, however as we got to Loch Leven the rain lifted and it turned out to be a pleasant morning. We entered into the water in the bay area to go and look for Phosphorescent sea pens in the silty area. We quickly found one and then more popped out of the dark so we spent some time taking pictures of them. As we moved deeper we found a Gurnard, two Thornback Rays and plenty of other organisms. We then started to ascend along the slope when we found an Octopus! We followed the Octopus up into the shallows and ascended to end our amazing 84-minute dive. Will definitely have to come back to do another dive here in the near future.
